How do I clean and maintain my Water Flosser+?
Keeping your Water Flosser+ clean ensures it performs at its best and stays hygienic. Here are a few simple tips:
- Remove the tank for a thorough clean. The water tank is detachable — simply pull it out from the device to clean or dry it properly. This makes it much easier to rinse, scrub, and air dry the inside of the reservoir.
- Empty the tank after each use. Don't leave water sitting in the reservoir, as stagnant water can encourage bacteria and mould growth.
- Rinse the tank with clean water regularly and allow it to air dry completely before reattaching and storing.
- Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth or baby wipe to remove any water spots or residue.
- Clean the nozzle tip by removing it and rinsing thoroughly under warm running water after each use.
- Deep clean weekly by filling the tank with a mixture of warm water and white vinegar (or a small amount of mouthwash), running it through on the lowest setting, then rinsing with clean water.
- Replace your nozzle tip regularly — just like a toothbrush head, nozzles can accumulate bacteria over time and should be replaced every 3–6 months.
- Store in a dry place. Bathrooms are humid — keeping the device and tank dry between uses helps prevent build-up and mould.
