Are the Alviun Sonic+ heads recyclable?
Yes! Sonic+ brush heads can't go into your regular kerbside recycling bin, but they can be recycled for free through TerraCycle's Oral Care Recycling Program. Here's how:
Option 1 – Drop it off: Find your nearest drop-off point (many are located at dental clinics) at terracycle.com/en-AU/about-terracycle/drop_off_locations. No account or shipping label needed.
Option 2 – Send it in: Create a free TerraCycle account, print a prepaid shipping label, and drop your package at your nearest Australia Post Office. It's completely free!
Once received, brush heads are separated by material type and recycled into new products like garden furniture and playground equipment.
